Yamaha RD350 YPVS

This parallel-twin 2 stroke engine from an 80s Yamaha RD350 YPVS, claimed to be "the nearest thing to a road going racer ever produced" by MCN in 1982, was brought in to me recently for restoration.


As you can see from the following pictures, I had to strip paint off some parts before I could vapour blast them but you can see the results. From looking its age to looking almost new, just goes to show what hard work and a lot of attention to detail can achieve.
